About the Role

As a Restaurant Delivery driver with DoorDash, you'll manage food orders from pickup to delivery across Avondale Estates and surrounding DeKalb County neighborhoods. This part-time position offers complete flexibility—you decide when and how often to work. Using the DoorDash app, you'll receive order notifications, drive to restaurants, collect food, and deliver it directly to customers' doors, all at your own pace.

What You'll Do

• Accept and manage delivery orders through the DoorDash mobile app
• Navigate to restaurants, confirm orders, and pick up food items securely
• Drive to delivery addresses safely and efficiently using GPS and app directions
• Handle food orders carefully to maintain quality and freshness during transport
• Communicate with restaurants and customers when questions arise during pickups or deliveries
• Provide professional, courteous service that reflects DoorDash's reputation in your area
• Report issues and resolve delivery concerns promptly using the app platform

What We're Looking For

• Valid U.S. driver's license and current auto insurance
• Dependable vehicle in reliable working condition
• Smartphone capable of running the DoorDash driver app
• Physical ability to lift, carry, and transport food orders safely
• Familiarity with Avondale Estates and DeKalb County roads and neighborhoods
• Strong customer service mindset and reliability
• Comfort working outdoors across varying weather and traffic conditions
