Residential – Field Manager I

Franklin Energy is hiring a full-time Residential Field Manager I in Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, to lead the on-the-ground teams that bring energy-efficiency programs directly to homeowners.

About the Role

As a Residential Field Manager I at Franklin Energy in Pittsburgh, you will take ownership of the field workforce responsible for delivering program installations and home assessments to our residential customers. This on-site leadership position centers on guiding, coordinating, and supporting the people who carry out our energy services every day across Allegheny County.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise all field personnel engaged in residential program installations and assessments, including Field Supervisors, Field Technicians, Direct Installers, and Energy Auditors.
• Oversee day-to-day field operations to ensure work is completed accurately, safely, and to customer expectations.
• Coordinate scheduling, workflow, and team assignments so installations and home evaluations run smoothly.
• Mentor and develop staff, reinforcing quality standards and consistent service delivery in the field.
• Take on additional related duties as program needs evolve, since responsibilities may grow beyond this list.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to manage and lead field-based teams of technicians, installers, and auditors.
• Strong organizational and communication skills suited to coordinating personnel and on-site work.
• Comfort working in a hands-on, customer-facing residential environment throughout the Pittsburgh and Allegheny County area.
• Willingness to perform this role on-site, as the position is not remote.
