Residential/Commercial Roofing Estimator

Dynasty Building Solutions is hiring a Residential/Commercial Roofing Estimator to join our growing team in Tampa, Hillsborough County. This is a full-time, in-office position serving the Tampa Bay area's residential and commercial roofing market.

About the Role

As a Roofing Estimator at Dynasty Building Solutions, you will be the critical link between our project evaluation and sales process. You'll conduct thorough site assessments, prepare detailed cost estimates, and develop professional proposals that win work and set the foundation for project success.

What You'll Do

• Perform on-site inspections of residential and commercial properties to gather accurate measurements and project specifications
• Analyze roof conditions, material requirements, and project scope to develop comprehensive estimates
• Prepare detailed, professional proposals and cost breakdowns for clients
• Utilize estimating software and industry tools to calculate labor, materials, and overhead costs
• Communicate directly with clients to understand their needs, answer questions, and build confidence in proposals
• Collaborate with project managers and crews to ensure estimates align with execution capabilities
• Maintain organized records of estimates, project data, and client information
• Stay current with roofing materials, techniques, and pricing in the Tampa market

What We're Looking For

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail
• Experience preparing roofing estimates for residential and/or commercial projects
• Proficiency with estimating software and construction measurement tools
• Solid understanding of roofing materials, installation methods, and industry standards
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple estimates simultaneously
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for site visits
• High school diploma or equivalent; roofing industry experience preferred
