About the Role
As a Residential Aide at Williamsburg Safe Haven, you'll deliver essential daily support to residents living in our safe, clean, and affordable temporary accommodations. This is frontline direct care work that serves as an immediate alternative to street homelessness. You'll collaborate with case managers and clinical staff to help residents progress toward independence, working in a trauma-informed environment built on respect and human dignity.
What You'll Do
- Provide compassionate direct care and daily support to residents in temporary housing
- Maintain clean, sanitary, and safe living environments throughout the facility
- Assist residents with activities of daily living and personal care needs
- Support residents' connection to on-site case management and clinical services
- Monitor resident wellbeing and communicate observations to clinical and case management teams
- Respond promptly and professionally to residents' immediate needs
- Contribute to a respectful, person-centered community culture
