Position Summary As a Loan Servicing Quality Assurance Analyst at Carrington, you'll play a critical role in validating loan servicing processes against regulatory requirements and internal standards. Your work will encompass compliance testing, process remediation evaluation, and loan data analysis across the complete loan lifecycle. You'll report findings, maintain detailed documentation, and work with loan servicing teams to ensure all operations meet federal, state, and investor-specific guidelines. Core Duties Assess document provisioning and remediation plans, identifying items requiring clarification or revision Review and validate process improvements submitted by servicing teams for compliance adequacy Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of processes, reports, and procedures according to departmental standards Execute testing protocols for low and medium-risk findings, verifying successful implementation of corrective actions Flag exceptions identified during testing and escalate observations outside testing scope to management Secure management approval for completed testing as required by department procedures Analyze loan data to validate outcomes and communicate test results to business units Conduct assigned recurring testing and scheduled compliance validations Research internal and external audit findings, develop initial responses, and coordinate timely submissions to relevant parties Track assignments and maintain status updates using SharePoint and loan servicing systems Escalate compliance concerns and risk issues to management while maintaining data integrity and confidentiality Perform additional duties as assigned Skills & Qualifications High school diploma required; bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience strongly preferred Minimum three years of experience in mortgage or loan servicing Minimum two years of hands-on experience in quality assurance, data analysis, testing, and reporting Solid understanding of mortgage industry terminology, servicing timelines, and default procedures Proficiency with loan servicing technology platforms for data research and validation Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite; intermediate Excel skills Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with strong collaboration skills Effective time management and organizational skills Ability to remain adaptable and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment Capacity to…
