Day-to-Day Responsibilities Processes cost report correspondence including mail correspondence, cost report processing, tentative and final settlements. Analyzes cost report documentation to ensure acceptability criteria are met for acceptance. Updates systems (FISS, STAR) with applications processed by Provider Enrollment. Reflects rate changes derived from payment rate reviews, provider reviews, and CMS-mandated changes in the systems. Buils constructive working relationships with clients/customers, other work units, and individuals to meet mutual goals and objectives. Collaborates with Recoupment, Systems Support, Provider Call Center, Provider Audit, Provider Enrollment, PreProcess, and Provider Education to support providers on various payment and systems issues. Requirements Experience in Medicare cost report processing and reconciliation. Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform detailed analysis of cost reports.
