About the Role
This part-time opportunity invites skilled occupational therapy professionals to support our rehabilitation team in delivering compassionate, patient-centered care. Working as an Occupational Therapist Assistant, you'll play an essential role in helping patients regain independence and improve their quality of life through therapeutic interventions.
What You'll Do
- Assist occupational therapists in evaluating patient functional abilities and therapeutic needs
- Implement evidence-based therapeutic activities and interventions under professional supervision
- Support patients in developing daily living and adaptive skills to enhance independence
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of therapeutic progress
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary rehabilitation team to coordinate patient care
- Engage with patients and families to promote therapeutic goals and recovery outcomes
What We're Looking For
- Current certification or licensure as an Occupational Therapist Assistant
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team environment
- Commitment to patient-centered rehabilitation care
- Physical ability to support patients in therapeutic activities
