Join Ardor Health Solutions as a Travel Physical Therapist Assistant supporting patients in a home health setting throughout Pulaski, Virginia. This contract therapy position runs for 13 weeks at 40 hours per week across 8-hour shifts, giving licensed PTAs the chance to deliver hands-on rehabilitation care while experiencing a new community on assignment.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out physical therapy treatment plans developed by the supervising physical therapist within a home health environment.
- Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and rehabilitation activities to restore strength and function.
- Track and document patient progress, reporting changes to the supervising therapist.
- Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safe movement techniques.
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical records in line with home health and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program and current PTA licensure valid in Virginia.
- Eligibility to work a full-time, 40-hour travel schedule for the 13-week duration.
- Availability to begin the assignment on or around June 27, 2026.
- Comfort working independently in a home health setting and traveling to patient locations.
- Strong communication, organization, and patient-care skills suited to rehabilitation therapy.
