Rehab – Physical Therapist

MUSC Health Black River Medical Center seeks a part-time Physical Therapist to join our rehabilitation services team in Cades, Williamsburg County. Help patients regain strength, mobility, and independence through evidence-based therapeutic care in a collaborative healthcare setting.

About the Role

This part-time position offers the opportunity to deliver clinical rehabilitation services while maintaining schedule flexibility. You'll work alongside our healthcare team to provide compassionate, high-quality physical therapy to patients across diverse clinical conditions.

What You'll Do

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
• Deliver therapeutic exercises and manual therapy techniques to improve functional mobility
• Track patient progress and modify interventions to maximize recovery outcomes
• Maintain detailed clinical documentation and patient records per regulatory standards
• Partner with physicians, nurses, and other clinical staff on coordinated patient care
• Educate patients and families on home programs and prevention strategies
• Contribute to a patient-centered rehabilitation environment

What We're Looking For

• Valid Physical Therapy license in South Carolina
• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree
• Clinical experience in rehabilitation preferred
• Patient-centered approach and strong communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-based healthcare setting
