This full-time position offers the opportunity to deliver compassionate, expert patient care in our medical-surgical telemetry unit, where your clinical skills and dedication directly impact patient recovery and outcomes.

About the Role

As a Registered Nurse in our Telemetry unit, you'll work in a dynamic medical-surgical environment where continuous patient monitoring and acute care management are central to daily practice. This full-time role encompasses 36 hours per week on a flexible schedule of 8- or 12-hour shifts, operating between 7 a.m. and 11 p.m., with rotating weekend and holiday assignments to ensure consistent, high-quality care around the clock.

What You'll Do

  • Monitor and interpret patient cardiac rhythms and telemetry data, responding promptly to changes in patient status
  • Assess vital signs, perform physical examinations, and document patient findings in real time
  • Administer medications, manage intravenous therapy, and coordinate wound care and other clinical interventions
  • Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and execute individualized care plans
  • Provide direct patient and family education on diagnoses, treatment plans, and post-discharge self-care
  • Maintain meticulous, timely documentation and communicate critical changes through established protocols
  • Uphold infection control standards, patient safety procedures, and regulatory compliance in all clinical activities

What We're Looking For

  • Current New York State RN license (or active licensure in your state with commitment to obtain New York reciprocal licensure)
  • Strong knowledge of cardiac monitoring, EKG interpretation, and telemetry equipment operation
  • Proficiency in medical-surgical nursing principles and acute patient assessment
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative healthcare environment
  • Ability to manage multiple patients and dynamic clinical situations with composure and clinical judgment
  • Flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
