About the Role
As a per diem Infusion Registered Nurse, you will manage the daily clinical care of patients receiving medication through intravenous lines. This on-site position blends hands-on bedside assessment with the technical precision of infusion therapy, giving you a flexible schedule and meaningful patient relationships within an infectious disease practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients on a daily basis and document their clinical status
- Prepare and administer prescribed medications through intravenous lines
- Place and replace intravenous access devices on site as individual patients require
- Review appointment schedules and coordinate a smooth flow of patients through the clinic
- Carry out patient screenings according to provider guidelines and direction
- Complete additional patient-care duties as assigned to support the clinical team
Qualifications
- Active license as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Clinical experience with infusion therapy and intravenous medication administration
- Competence in placing and maintaining IV access devices
- Strong patient assessment skills and attention to clinical detail
- Ability to organize patient flow and work effectively within a care team
- Availability for a part-time, per diem schedule at the Claremont location
