About the Role
You'll serve as a Registered Nurse providing direct patient care in our rehabilitation facility, working collaboratively with physicians, therapists, and support staff to advance patient outcomes. This part-time nursing role allows you to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives while maintaining scheduling flexibility.
What You'll Do
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and established clinical protocols
- Monitor patient vital signs, health status, and rehabilitation progress daily
- Assess patient conditions and develop individualized nursing care plans
- Provide direct patient care including wound management, catheter care, and clinical interventions
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records and documentation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care
- Educate patients and families regarding medications, treatments, and self-care responsibilities
- Respond to patient needs and address clinical concerns promptly
What We're Looking For
- Current Missouri Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Knowledge of rehabilitation nursing practices and patient care principles
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Meticulous attention to documentation and detail
- Physical capability to perform nursing duties and patient care tasks
