About This Position

As a Registered Nurse at St. John Rehabilitation Hospital in Sperry, you'll provide direct nursing care to patients recovering from acute illness, surgery, or trauma. Your role bridges clinical expertise with compassionate support, coordinating treatment plans alongside our interdisciplinary team and championing each patient's path to recovery and independence in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

Responsibilities

• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions; identify changes and adjust care based on clinical observation
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapeutic interventions per physician orders and established nursing protocols
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate comprehensive rehabilitation care
• Educate patients and families on recovery milestones, self-care strategies, and discharge planning
• Maintain accurate, timely medical records and ensure clear communication during shift handoffs
• Advocate for patient safety and dignity throughout the recovery process

Skills & Qualifications

• Current, active RN licensure in Oklahoma
• Strong clinical nursing knowledge and practical hands-on skills
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented healthcare environment
• Excellent communication and patient advocacy abilities
• Commitment to patient safety and evidence-based nursing practice
• Physical capacity to perform nursing duties, including patient mobility assistance and extended standing
