Rochester Regional Health is seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented Registered Dietitian to join its Renal Dialysis team at Loehmanns Plaza in Monroe County, supporting patients through expert nutritional care in a full-time, on-site role that includes tuition assistance.
About the Role
As a Registered Dietitian with Rochester Regional Health, you will guide the nutritional well-being of patients receiving hemodialysis at a 48-station outpatient dialysis center serving full-care hemodialysis patients. This is a full-time position based at the Dialysis Center on Irondequoit Seneca Ridge, working a Monday through Friday daytime schedule (8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.), 40 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate the nutritional status and needs of patients within the Renal Dialysis Unit.
- Develop individualized nutrition care plans tailored to each patient's medical and dietary requirements.
- Carry out nutrition interventions and provide education to patients and their families.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans to support ongoing health outcomes.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary dialysis care team to deliver coordinated treatment.
Qualifications
- Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian.
- Knowledge of renal nutrition and the dietary management of hemodialysis patients is highly valued.
- Strong assessment, planning, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a collaborative clinical care setting.
