About the Role

As a Regional CDL-A Truck Driver with J.B. Hunt's Dedicated Contract Services division, you'll be assigned to a single customer account — meaning predictable freight, familiar delivery points, and a structured routine that lets you plan your life around your work. This is a full-time, activity-based pay position built to reward drivers who prioritize safety, efficiency, and a strong professional standard on every run out of the Downers Grove, Illinois area.

Compensation Details

• Competitive mileage rate of $0.66–$0.70 per mile
• Detention pay of $15 per hour, beginning after the first two hours
• Activity-based pay structure that recognizes productive, safe driving habits

What You'll Do

• Operate a Class A commercial vehicle on regional routes serving a dedicated customer account
• Execute consistent pickup and delivery schedules with reliability and professionalism
• Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections in accordance with DOT standards
• Maintain accurate electronic logs and all required regulatory documentation
• Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding route status, delays, or load concerns
• Uphold J.B. Hunt's standards for cargo security, safe driving practices, and customer service on every delivery

What We're Looking For

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A)
• Clean driving record that meets J.B. Hunt and DOT qualification requirements
