As a Regional Occupancy Inspection Walker with FAR Inspections, you will work as an independent contractor verifying occupancy and property conditions for residential mortgage inspections throughout Wilmington and the surrounding New Hanover County communities. This is a full-time, field-based opportunity ideal for self-motivated individuals who enjoy working independently and on the road rather than behind a desk.
Key Responsibilities
- Travel to assigned residential properties across New Hanover County to carry out mortgage occupancy inspections.
- Confirm whether homes are occupied, vacant, or in transition and document findings accurately.
- Capture clear photographs and record condition details required for each inspection report.
- Submit completed inspection results promptly and according to client standards.
- Plan efficient daily routes to cover Wilmington and nearby communities.
Qualifications
- Residence in or near Wilmington, or anywhere within New Hanover County, North Carolina.
- Reliable, dependable work ethic with the ability to operate as an independent contractor.
- A valid driver's license and access to dependable transportation for regional travel.
- Comfort working outdoors and on foot while walking properties.
- Attention to detail and basic skills for photographing and reporting inspection results.
