About the Role
This is a 1099 solo contract position running refrigerated, regional freight out of Dublin, Franklin County. You will operate on a line haul basis with no driver load or unload responsibilities, keeping your time focused on the road. Pay begins at $0.60 per mile, with a performance review at the 30-day mark and the opportunity for a rate increase after 90 days on the job.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a Class A vehicle safely across regional, refrigerated routes
- Run line haul lanes without handling load or unload duties
- Average roughly 1,800 to 2,300 miles each week
- Maintain on-time, dependable delivery as an independent 1099 contractor
- Follow all DOT regulations and company safety standards
Qualifications
- Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A)
- Willingness to work as a solo, 1099 independent contractor
- Comfort with a regional schedule that keeps you out approximately 5 days, with 2 days of home time
- A clean, safety-minded driving record and strong reliability
Compensation & Home Time
- Gross weekly average pay between $1,100 and $2,000
- Starting rate of $0.60 per mile, reviewed at 30 days, with raises available after 90 days
- Holiday and performance bonuses
- Regional schedule of about 5 days out followed by 2 days of home time
