About the Role
As a Recreation Specialist, you will help deliver the fun, safe, and welcoming programming that the El Dorado Hills Community Services District is known for. Working within the Recreation Division, you will support the day-to-day operation of recreational activities, events, and facilities that strengthen quality of life across the El Dorado Hills community. This is a part-time role with three openings.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in coordinating and running recreation programs, classes, and community activities.
- Provide friendly, helpful service to program participants and visitors of all ages.
- Help maintain safe, clean, and well-organized recreation spaces and facilities.
- Support event setup, supervision, and wrap-up as scheduled.
- Contribute to the Recreation Division's goal of delivering enjoyable and well-managed experiences for the community.
Qualifications
- A genuine interest in parks, recreation, and community service.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills for working with diverse groups.
- Dependability and the ability to work a part-time schedule that may include evenings or weekends based on programming needs.
- A safety-focused, team-oriented approach to supporting recreational activities.
