Recovery Specialist

Join Clicklease in Draper, Salt Lake County, Utah as a full-time Recovery Specialist and help our customers achieve their business goals. In this role, you'll partner with small business owners to resolve payment challenges and maintain the financial health of our equipment financing portfolio.

About the Role

As a Recovery Specialist at Clicklease, you'll be the bridge between our customers and successful financial outcomes. You'll manage accounts that need attention, work proactively to understand customer circumstances, and develop solutions that keep businesses on track. This is a hands-on position where your effort directly impacts both customer success and company growth.

What You'll Do

• Contact customers with delinquent or at-risk accounts to assess situations and identify resolution paths
• Document all interactions, agreements, and payment arrangements with accuracy and professionalism
• Negotiate payment plans and terms that work for customers while protecting company interests
• Coordinate with internal teams to facilitate account modifications, deferrals, or restructuring when appropriate
• Monitor account progress, track commitments, and follow up to ensure promised payments are received
• Handle difficult conversations with professionalism, empathy, and persistence
• Report regularly on recovery metrics, trends, and outcomes to management

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in collections, recovery, customer service, or account management roles
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with diverse customer types
• Strong ability to listen, problem-solve, and remain patient during challenging interactions
• Detail-oriented with solid organizational and time-management abilities
• Comfort with CRM systems and willingness to learn our internal tools
• Resilience, empathy, and genuine interest in helping small business owners succeed
