About the Role

As a Youth Development Specialist (YDS) within the Raise The Age program, you will work directly with adolescents on campus who display runaway tendencies and other high-risk behaviors connected to court involvement. The position blends hands-on counseling with practical advocacy, ensuring young people are supported through every stage of their court-related journey and toward long-term permanency.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver one-on-one support and counseling to adolescents on campus who exhibit runaway and high-risk behaviors requiring court involvement.
• Escort and accompany youth to court hearings and other associated court activities.
• Contribute to permanency planning efforts for high-risk young people.
• Partner with case planners to carry out planning tasks and related responsibilities.
• Help create a safe, structured, and encouraging environment that promotes positive youth development.
