Assess contractor bids and rates then aid recommendations on suppliers and subcontractors. Track expenditures and variations while compiling cost reports with progress valuations. Join value engineering sessions and drive measures that cut spending. Review and confirm baseline schedules along with later updates. Observe site progress and flag gaps between planned and actual performance. Coordinate with the project scheduler so quantities and costs stay matched to schedule status. Employ Bluebeam for digital markups, take-offs, design checks and document control. Draft cost summaries, change order evaluations, progress notes and formal reports. Align technical and commercial goals by partnering with engineering, procurement and site groups. Assist close-out tasks such as verifying final quantities, checking as-built costs and assembling turnover packages. What You Bring Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or a related technical discipline. Proven background as Quantity Surveyor, Cost Estimator or comparable role on vertical or horizontal construction projects. Ability to interpret engineering drawings, contracts, specifications and schedules. Understanding of construction scheduling principles, with Primavera P6 or MS Project experience a plus. Preferred hands-on skill in Bluebeam and PlanSwift covering take-offs, markups and document comparison. Strong analytical ability, mathematics and cost review skills. Clear communication strengths paired with solid reporting capacity. Consistently high standards of accuracy, detail and documentation discipline.…
