About the Role

As a Quality Manager, you will oversee quality assurance and control activities across multiple construction verticals, ensuring that all work meets Skanska’s rigorous standards and regulatory requirements.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and implement project-specific quality plans aligned with company policies and client specifications.
  • Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and walkthroughs to verify compliance with safety, environmental, and quality codes.
  • Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and design teams to identify and resolve non‑conformances promptly.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, including inspection reports, test results, and corrective action logs.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing quality data and recommending process enhancements.
  • Provide training and mentorship to field personnel on quality best practices and emerging industry standards.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience in quality assurance/control within the construction or heavy civil industry.
  • Strong knowledge of ASTM, ISO, OSHA, and local building codes relevant to Dallas‑area projects.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency with quality management software and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Detail‑oriented mindset coupled with strong problem‑solving abilities.
  • Commitment to safety, sustainability, and the principles of diversity and inclusion.
