Purpose of Position

  • The QA Engineer will be responsible for establishing, maintaining, and continuously improving quality assurance frameworks, testing processes, and quality standards across CASETiFY’s digital products. The incumbent will work closely with product, engineering, design, business stakeholders, and external vendors to ensure digital solutions are delivered with high quality, reliability, and consistency.
  • The incumbent is expected to bring strong hands-on experience in software testing and quality assurance, with practical knowledge of test planning, test execution, defect management, release validation, and process improvement across customer-facing and internal digital systems. This role will play an important part in building a scalable QA discipline and improving product quality across CASETiFY’s digital commerce and business platforms in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Job Description

  • Establish and drive QA frameworks, testing processes, standards, and governance across CASETiFY’s digital products and technology initiatives,
  • Define and implement structured testing approaches covering functional testing, regression testing, integration testing, system testing, UAT support, and release validation,
  • Work closely with product managers, engineers, designers, business teams, and external vendors to understand requirements, clarify acceptance criteria, and ensure complete testing coverage,
  • Develop test strategies, test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and test data for digital products across e-commerce, mobile applications, mini-programs, internal tools, APIs, and other customer-facing or business-supporting platforms,
  • Execute and coordinate end-to-end quality validation for new features, enhancements, integrations, and production releases,
  • Identify, document, track, and follow up on defects, issues, and quality risks, and work with relevant teams to ensure timely resolution and retesting,
  • Support release readiness by validating critical user flows, system integrations, and business scenarios before production deployment,
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to improve testability, quality controls, defect prevention, and overall software delivery practices,
  • Drive continuous improvement in QA processes, environments, tools, documentation, and reporting to improve testing efficiency and product quality,
  • Support the setup and evolution of automation testing practices, frameworks, and reusable test assets where appropriate,
  • Work across multiple digital products to ensure consistent quality standards and testing discipline across customer-facing and internal systems, and assist in UAT planning, coordination, and business user support to ensure smooth validation and rollout of product changes,
  • Participate in incident reviews, root cause analysis, post-release quality improvements, quality reporting, and stakeholder communication while contributing positively to team culture through ownership, attention to detail, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Strong hands-on experience in software quality assurance, testing, and release validation
  • Good understanding of QA frameworks, testing methodologies, defect lifecycle management, and software development lifecycle
  • Experience in testing digital products such as e-commerce platforms, websites, mobile applications, mini-programs, APIs, and enterprise system integrations
  • Practical experience in writing test plans, test cases, test scenarios, bug reports, and test result summaries
  • Good understanding of functional testing, regression testing, integration testing, UAT support, and production release validation
  • Experience in setting up or improving QA processes, governance, and quality standards across multiple products or teams
  • Familiarity with test management tools, defect tracking tools, and collaboration platforms used in agile delivery environments
  • Exposure to test automation concepts, frameworks, and tooling is preferred
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify risks, edge cases, and process gaps effectively
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work closely with product, engineering, design, business users, and external vendors
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a structured approach to testing and issue investigation
  • Known for promoting quality, discipline, teamwork, and continuous improvement
  • At least 5 years of relevant working experience in QA, software testing, or related roles, preferably with exposure to multiple digital products and cross-functional delivery environments
  • Experience in e-commerce, retail, omnichannel, or other consumer-facing digital businesses is preferred
  • Experience in multicultural and fast-paced environments is preferred
  • Happy to work in a buzzing multicultural environment; proficient in spoken and written Mandarin and English
