Join Lab2Fab as a full-time Purchasing Manager in The Colony, Texas. We're seeking an experienced procurement leader to manage our supplier network and drive strategic sourcing initiatives that support our growing supply chain operations.
About the Role
As Purchasing Manager at Lab2Fab, you'll oversee procurement operations and maintain strong partnerships with our external suppliers. This on-site position is central to our supply chain strategy, requiring someone who can balance cost efficiency with quality and reliability while building preferred supplier relationships that accelerate our operational goals.
What You'll Do
- Source and procure products and materials from qualified external suppliers to meet operational demands
- Develop and manage preferred supplier relationships to ensure reliable, cost-effective supply agreements
- Negotiate contracts and terms with vendors to optimize pricing, delivery performance, and compliance
- Monitor supplier quality metrics and on-time delivery performance
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within procurement to reduce costs and enhance operational efficiency
- Collaborate with internal teams to forecast material requirements and align purchasing with production schedules
- Evaluate new suppliers and assess their capability to meet Lab2Fab's quality and service standards
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management
- Demonstrated success developing and maintaining effective supplier relationships
- Strong negotiation and contract management abilities
- Ability to analyze procurement costs and identify savings opportunities
- Experience with vendor management systems and procurement software
- Excellent communication and organizational skills with strong attention to detail
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related discipline (or equivalent professional experience)
