Delta Companies is recruiting a full-time Psychiatry physician for a consulting psychiatry role based in Wasilla, Matanuska-Susitna, Alaska. About the Role

In this consulting psychiatry position, you'll provide mental health assessment and treatment services to patients throughout the Matanuska-Susitna region. You'll work alongside dedicated care teams delivering evidence-based psychiatric interventions and building meaningful clinical relationships with patients in a collaborative healthcare setting.

What You'll Do

• Perform thorough psychiatric evaluations and diagnostic assessments
• Design and execute individualized treatment plans
• Manage psychiatric medication regimens with clinical oversight
• Respond to psychiatric emergencies and crisis situations
• Coordinate care with primary care physicians and mental health professionals
• Maintain comprehensive clinical documentation and records

What We're Looking For

• MD or DO with completed psychiatry residency training
• Board certification or board eligibility in psychiatry
• Valid Alaska medical license (or ability to obtain)
• Current DEA registration and prescribing privileges
• Dedication to high-quality, evidence-based psychiatric care
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills

Compensation & Benefits

This position offers a base salary of up to $300,000–$375,000 based on training and professional experience, plus a 10% sign-on bonus calculated from your base salary. You'll receive a $30,000 relocation package, an annual salary increase equal to 7% of your base, and potential additional increases based on performance. The contract spans two years with renewal options and retention bonuses available. Delta Companies offers no non-compete agreements, and the position qualifies for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) programs for eligible student loan repayment.
