Low Income Housing Institute
Low Income Housing Institute is seeking a Property Manager II to lead housing management operations at our Queen Anne property in King County. This full-time, temporary position (3 to 6 months) offers the opportunity to directly impact low-income residents' housing stability while managing comprehensive property operations.
About the Role
As Property Manager II, you will oversee daily operations at our 430 Minor Avenue North property in Seattle, reporting to the Area Manager. Working Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, you'll combine strategic housing management with hands-on resident engagement to maintain occupancy and program quality.
What You'll Do
- Direct housing management procedures and oversee day-to-day property operations
- Maintain high occupancy rates through effective lease management and resident retention strategies
- Develop and implement resident programs that enhance community engagement and support services
- Manage tenant relations, respond to resident concerns, and ensure fair housing compliance
- Coordinate maintenance requests and building upkeep with vendor partners
- Support fair housing practices and compliance with all applicable housing regulations
- Collaborate with the Area Manager on strategic property planning and program development
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of property management experience, preferably in affordable or low-income housing
- Strong knowledge of fair housing laws and property management best practices
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse resident populations
- Customer service orientation and ability to balance resident needs with operations
- Proficiency with property management systems and Microsoft Office

- Compensation: $36.06–$40.87 per hour, non-exempt position
