Property Management Coordinator

Rhodes Enterprises is seeking a Property Management Coordinator to join its team in McAllen, Hidalgo County, where you will support the day‑to‑day operations of residential communities.

About the Role

As a Property Management Coordinator, you will serve as a key point of contact for residents, vendors, and internal teams, helping to ensure that community standards are met and that living environments remain welcoming and well‑maintained. This full‑time position is based onsite in McAllen and plays an integral part in Rhodes Enterprises’ mission to build thriving neighborhoods across South Texas.

What You'll Do

• Coordinate lease administration, including preparing lease documents, processing renewals, and maintaining accurate resident files.
• Schedule and oversee routine maintenance and repair requests, ensuring timely completion and resident satisfaction.
• Assist with move‑in and move‑out processes, conducting inspections and documenting property conditions.
• Respond promptly to resident inquiries and concerns, providing clear communication and effective solutions.
• Support the planning and execution of community events and resident engagement initiatives.
• Generate regular reports on occupancy, delinquency, and maintenance metrics for management review.
• Liaise with external vendors and service providers to secure competitive pricing and quality service.
• Ensure compliance with fair housing regulations, company policies, and local ordinances.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and coordinate procurement of necessary materials for community upkeep.

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business, real estate, or a related field preferred.
• Previous experience in property management, leasing, customer service, or a similar administrative role.
• Strong organizational abilities with meticulous attention to detail and the capacity to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency with property management software such as Yardi, AppFolio, Buildium, or comparable platforms.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills suited for interacting with diverse residents and team members.
• Knowledge of basic maintenance practices and the ability to coordinate service requests efficiently.
• Familiarity with fair housing laws and ethical standards in residential property management.
• Self‑motivated, proactive attitude with a commitment to delivering high‑quality resident experiences.
