About the Role

As Project Specialist III at our Sarasota studio, you'll take on expanded responsibility in the production and coordination of construction documents, architectural drawings, and technical specifications. This is an advanced support role where you'll bridge our design and production teams, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timeliness across all project deliverables. You'll work directly under the direction of Project Managers and Project Architects, growing your expertise while contributing meaningfully to high-profile projects across the firm's service areas in Manatee County and beyond.

What You'll Do

• Develop and refine construction documents, technical drawings, and architectural specifications using industry-standard CAD and BIM software
• Coordinate drawing sets across multiple disciplines, ensuring consistency and compliance with industry standards
• Provide technical support to Project Managers and Project Architects throughout the documentation phase
• Perform quality reviews on drawings and specifications before client submission
• Maintain project schedules, track document revisions, and manage version control
• Collaborate with studio team members and external consultants to resolve technical issues
• Build and maintain accurate project databases, reference files, and drawing libraries

What We're Looking For

• 3–5 years of professional experience in architectural, construction, or engineering documentation
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, or equivalent) and demonstrated skill in 2D and 3D modeling
• Strong knowledge of construction document standards, codes, and best practices
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
• Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy and quality
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
