Project Manager SAP – ASB

Leidos, a trusted technology and engineering solutions provider, is hiring a Project Manager for our SAP - ASB practice in Newark, Essex County. You'll lead the planning, execution, and delivery of enterprise information technology projects serving regional and national electric utility clients on a full-time basis.

About the Role

This is a hands-on leadership position managing complex IT projects across our Utility Technologies Solutions division. You'll own the end-to-end delivery lifecycle, from initiation through closeout, ensuring projects meet scope, schedule, budget, and quality targets while maintaining strong alignment with Leidos' core mission and values. You'll partner closely with utility clients, internal teams, and stakeholders to navigate technical and organizational challenges and drive measurable results.

What You'll Do

• Define project scope, objectives, and success criteria in collaboration with client stakeholders
• Develop comprehensive project schedules, budgets, and resource plans
• Manage project execution, monitor progress against baselines, and implement corrective actions as needed
• Lead cross-functional teams including developers, architects, and subject matter experts
• Identify and mitigate risks; manage scope changes and dependencies
• Communicate project status, issues, and outcomes to executive sponsors and utility clients
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and client requirements

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of project management experience, with proven success managing large-scale IT initiatives
• Demonstrated knowledge of SAP systems and enterprise software implementations
• Strong understanding of the utility or energy sector is highly valued
• Proficiency with project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, or hybrid approaches)
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities
• PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred
• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects and diverse stakeholder groups
