About the Role
In this entry‑level position you will support project managers in the planning and execution of fire protection and life safety initiatives. You will help keep projects on schedule, maintain accurate documentation, and facilitate clear communication among internal teams, clients, and vendors.
What You'll Do
- Assist project managers with developing timelines, tracking milestones, and updating schedules
- Prepare and organize project documentation, including contracts, reports, and meeting minutes
- Coordinate meetings, distribute agendas, and follow up on action items
- Communicate project status to stakeholders and respond to routine inquiries
- Maintain spreadsheets and databases to monitor resource allocation and budgets
- Support compliance checks that all work adheres to company safety standards and regulatory requirements
- Perform administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and preparing presentation materials
What We're Looking For
- Recent graduate or coursework in construction management, engineering, business, or a related field
- Strong organizational abilities with keen attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Project) or comparable tools
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
- Basic familiarity with construction processes or fire protection systems is a plus
