Job Description:
As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing complex projects that involve leading a multidisciplinary team of data engineers and technical targeters.
The work you’ll do:
Your day-to-day activities will include working closely with customers to establish and implement technical requirements, ensuring that all project objectives align with client expectations. You will be expected to drive IT modernization efforts, manage project financials, and forecast costs accurately to keep initiatives on track. Regular communication with stakeholders will be essential, as you will need to provide updates on project scope, schedules, and potential risks. To excel in this role, you should be comfortable generating weekly progress reports, conducting monthly contract status reviews, and leading program management meetings. You will also be tasked producing ad hoc reports for clients as needed, requiring strong organizational and analytical skills.
Familiarity with project management tools, financial tracking systems, and reporting software will be highly beneficial. Experience in managing large-scale technical projects, collaborating with diverse teams, and maintaining transparent communication channels with clients will help you succeed in this dynamic environment.
Here’s what you’ll need:
- 8 to 10+ years of experience in the following areas:
- Project and Program Management
- Team leadership and leading a multidisciplinary team
- Experience leading a team of data engineers and technical targeters
- Familiarity with leading IT modernization efforts
- Cost forecasting
- Working with customers to establish and implement requirements, and communicating with customers regarding scope, schedule, and risks
- Managing project financials, generating recurring reports, conducting recurring contract status reviews, and running recurring program management reviews
- Producing ad hoc reports for clients
Bonus points if you have:
- Bachelor’s degree
- PMP or similar project management certification
- Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies
- Experience with government or large enterprise contracts
- Familiarity with data engineering best practices
- Proficiency with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira)
- Strong risk management skills
Security clearance:
- Active TS/SCI with Poly security clearance required

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
