Production Supervisor, 2nd Shift

About the Role

As Production Supervisor for 2nd Shift, you'll lead and coordinate a production team ranging from 20 to 80 employees, depending on operational demand. You'll manage workflow across multiple production lines, maintain product quality standards, and ensure all team members follow established safety protocols. Your focus will be on balancing productivity with cost-effective resource use while keeping your team engaged and performing at their best.

What You'll Do

• Lead, direct, and supervise production staff across all shifts and assigned production lines
• Oversee mixing, baking, forming, and packaging operations to ensure on-time, quality delivery
• Monitor product quality and implement corrective actions when standards aren't met
• Manage team schedules, assignments, and performance to maximize line efficiency
• Maintain a safe work environment by enforcing safety protocols and procedures
• Track labor hours and material usage to optimize operational costs
• Communicate with management on production metrics, issues, and team performance

What We're Looking For

• Prior experience in a supervisory or lead role in manufacturing or production
• Familiarity with food production, baking, or similar production environments
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams
• Knowledge of safety protocols and commitment to maintaining a safe workplace
• Ability to read production schedules, track metrics, and solve operational problems
• Reliability and flexibility to work 2nd shift consistently
