About the Role
As a Production Planner with Barry-Wehmiller, you'll coordinate complex manufacturing workflows that deliver innovative machinery worldwide. This full-time position is based at our Baltimore facility, where you'll support our mission to provide cutting-edge equipment solutions for corrugating, finishing, slitting, packaging, bookbinding, and security document production.
What You'll Do
- Develop production schedules that align customer delivery expectations with manufacturing capacity and resource availability
- Coordinate across engineering, procurement, and production teams to ensure seamless equipment assembly, testing, and quality assurance
- Monitor work-in-progress inventory and material flow throughout multiple production stages
- Identify scheduling conflicts and resolve bottlenecks to keep projects moving efficiently
- Communicate material requirements and lead times with supply chain partners
- Prepare production reports and performance metrics for management review and operational improvements
What We're Looking For
- Proven background in production planning, scheduling, or manufacturing operations
- Experience with ERP systems and production planning software platforms
- Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate with cross-functional teams
