About the Role
As a Production Assistant at Seachem Laboratories in Madison, Morgan County, you'll be instrumental in supporting our daily manufacturing and production operations. Working within our production team, you'll contribute to multiple stages of our process, from material preparation through quality control, gaining practical experience in how products are manufactured and distributed.
What You'll Do
- Retrieve raw materials and packing supplies from storage areas to support production runs
- Measure and weigh product components accurately for formulation and batching operations
- Fill bottles and containers with finished products using specified procedures
- Apply labels and prepare packaged goods for distribution
- Fill buckets, drums, and large containers with product or materials as needed
- Organize and return unused raw materials and supplies to their designated storage locations
- Transport completed products from production lines to quality control areas for inspection
- Maintain work areas and support overall facility organization and cleanliness
