JCB is hiring a full-time Product Manager – Mini Excavator in San Antonio, Bexar County, to shape the strategy and market success of one of the world's most recognizable construction equipment brands.
About the Role
As the Product Manager – Mini Excavator at JCB, you will own the lifecycle of JCB's mini excavator lineup across the North American market. Based on-site in San Antonio, Bexar County, this role blends commercial insight, customer understanding, and technical fluency to ensure JCB's compact excavation machines stay competitive, profitable, and aligned with what operators in the field actually need. This is an in-person, full-time position — it is not a remote role.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the product strategy and positioning for JCB's mini excavator range from concept through to market launch.
- Translate dealer feedback, end-user requirements, and competitive analysis into clear product specifications and priorities.
- Partner with engineering, sales, and marketing teams to bring new machines and feature updates to market.
- Track market trends, pricing dynamics, and competitor activity within the compact construction equipment segment.
- Support dealers and the sales organization with product training, launch materials, and ongoing technical guidance.
- Monitor product performance metrics and recommend improvements that strengthen JCB's market share and margins.
Qualifications
- Proven product management experience, ideally within construction, agricultural, industrial, or heavy equipment industries.
- Strong commercial acumen paired with the technical literacy to engage credibly with engineering teams.
- Ability to interpret market data and customer insight into actionable product decisions.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Willingness to work on-site in San Antonio, Bexar County, with travel as the role requires.
