This position combines technical problem-solving with cross-functional collaboration to bring innovative suspension components to market. Core Duties Design and develop air spring products meeting commercial vehicle performance specifications and regulatory standards Conduct engineering analysis, simulation, and testing to validate product functionality and durability Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and logistics teams to optimise production processes Document technical specifications, design changes, and project progress for internal and external stakeholders Support prototype testing and field validation of air spring systems in commercial vehicle environments Contribute to cost reduction initiatives and continuous improvement of existing product lines Requirements Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or equivalent field experience Proven experience in product development or engineering design, preferably in suspension or automotive systems Strong proficiency in CAD software and engineering simulation tools Solid understanding of suspension system principles and commercial vehicle requirements Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities Fluency in English; Hungarian or German language skills are advantageous Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate technical concepts clearly Working at Continental Continental is a leading global provider of innovative automotive technologies and sustainable mobility solutions.
