Patreon is hiring a full-time Product Designer, Creator Success to join our team in Hayes Valley, San Francisco — crafting experiences that help creators turn their passion into a thriving, lasting business.
About the Role
As a Product Designer on the Creator Success team at Patreon, you'll shape the on-platform tools and journeys that empower creators to grow, engage their communities, and earn a living from their work. Based in our Hayes Valley, San Francisco office, this is a hands-on design role focused on the products that more than 300,000 creators rely on every day.
Key Responsibilities
- Design intuitive, end-to-end product experiences that help creators succeed across memberships, community chats, live video, and direct fan purchases.
- Translate creator needs and business goals into clear flows, wireframes, and polished, production-ready interfaces.
- Partner closely with product managers, engineers, and researchers to ship features that drive creator growth and retention.
- Build and iterate on prototypes, validate ideas with users, and refine designs based on feedback and data.
- Contribute to and uphold a cohesive design system that keeps the Patreon experience consistent and accessible.
Qualifications
- Proven experience designing consumer or creator-facing digital products, with a portfolio that demonstrates strong craft and systems thinking.
- Fluency across the full design process — from problem framing and user research to high-fidelity visuals and interaction design.
- Skill in collaborating cross-functionally and communicating design decisions to varied stakeholders.
- Comfort working from ambiguity toward clear, measurable outcomes for both creators and the business.
- Willingness to work on-site in Patreon's Hayes Valley, San Francisco location (this role is not remote).

Working in Hayes Valley, San Francisco
Hayes Valley is a neighborhood in the Western Addition district of San Francisco, California. It is located between the historical districts of Alamo Square and the Civic Center. Victorian, Queen Anne, and Edwardian townhouses are mixed with high-end boutiques, restaurants, and public housing complexes. The neighborhood gets its name from Hayes Street, which was named for Thomas Hayes, San Francisco's county clerk from 1853 to 1856 who also started the first Market Street Railway franchise.
