About the Role
As a part-time Direct Support Professional (DSP) with Community Options in Reading, you'll deliver person-centered care designed around the unique goals and needs of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This position also welcomes candidates with backgrounds as caregivers, direct care staff, and home health aides, including those seeking PRN (as-needed) scheduling. Your daily work directly shapes the well-being, dignity, and growth of the people you support.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individualized, person-centered support tailored to each person's preferences and abilities.
- Assist with daily living activities, personal care, and routines that promote independence.
- Encourage participation in community, social, and recreational opportunities.

Qualifications
- A genuine commitment to supporting individuals with disabilities.
- Patience, reliability, and strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Prior experience as a DSP, caregiver, direct care worker, or home health aide is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible part-time or PRN hours in the Pottsville/Reading region.
