ChenMed is hiring a Full-Time Primary Care Physician to join our expanding medical team in Shively, Jefferson County. About the Role

You'll deliver comprehensive primary care to a diverse patient population in our Shively location. This full-time position emphasizes continuity of care, preventive health, and building lasting patient relationships in a supportive clinical environment where your leadership and expertise are valued.

What You'll Do

• Conduct patient consultations, physical examinations, and comprehensive health assessments
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions with evidence-based protocols
• Develop individualized treatment and prevention plans tailored to patient needs
• Order and interpret diagnostic testing and medical imaging
• Coordinate specialist referrals and ensure integrated care delivery
• Maintain accurate, timely electronic health records
• Educate patients on wellness, disease prevention, and self-management
• Contribute to practice improvement and patient safety initiatives

What We're Looking For

• MD or DO degree with current Kentucky medical licensure
• Board certification or board eligibility in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or related primary care specialty
• Valid, unrestricted medical license in good standing with the state medical board
• Strong commitment to patient-centered, evidence-based medical practice
• Excellent clinical judgment and interpersonal communication skills
• Entrepreneurial mindset with willingness to help grow our practice
• Team-focused collaborative approach to healthcare delivery
