Join Rowan Digital Infrastructure as a Power Origination & Structuring Lead in Denver, Colorado. We're seeking a strategic professional to lead power sourcing and contract development for our rapidly expanding data center portfolio, driving innovative solutions that serve hyperscale customers worldwide.
Role Overview
As our Power Origination & Structuring Lead, you'll own the full lifecycle of power acquisition and partnership development for Rowan's data center operations. This is a hands-on leadership position where you'll identify, negotiate, and structure power agreements that enable our infrastructure growth while maintaining our commitment to efficiency and sustainability. You'll work cross-functionally with development, operations, and executive teams to ensure power solutions align with both customer requirements and our operational excellence standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and evaluate power supply opportunities, including renewable energy options, to support current and future data center development
- Lead negotiation of power contracts, rate structures, and service agreements with utilities, renewable providers, and infrastructure partners
- Develop and structure creative power solutions that meet customer needs while optimizing cost and sustainability outcomes
- Collaborate with site development and operations teams to ensure power infrastructure aligns with project timelines and technical requirements
- Manage relationships with key power partners and vendors, serving as the primary point of contact for power-related strategy and execution
- Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to identify emerging opportunities in power sourcing and infrastructure
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in power origination, energy procurement, utility partnerships, or related infrastructure roles
- Proven track record successfully structuring and closing power contracts or long-term energy agreements
- Strong understanding of power markets, grid operations, renewable energy procurement, and utility regulation
- Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills with ability to work effectively across technical and commercial stakeholders
- Strategic mindset with ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, energy management, or related field preferred
