About the Role

Greer Stop Nut, a Nashville-area manufacturer of precision fasteners, is seeking an experienced Plant Manager to oversee comprehensive manufacturing operations. In this role, you'll be the driving force behind operational performance, responsible for creating and sustaining a workplace culture centered on safety, continuous improvement, and profitability. Your leadership will shape how we execute daily—from production scheduling through quality assurance—while building a team that consistently delivers excellence to our customers.

What You'll Do

• Direct all manufacturing operations, including production planning, quality control, inventory management, and logistics
• Build and maintain a strong safety program, establishing protocols and fostering accountability across the facility
• Identify and implement operational improvements that increase productivity, eliminate inefficiencies, and reduce costs
• Recruit, train, and develop production supervisors and team members to achieve both operational goals and individual career growth
• Ensure consistent product quality and on-time delivery that strengthen customer relationships and market reputation
• Manage operating budgets and drive financial performance toward profitability targets
• Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and quality teams to solve complex operational challenges

What We're Looking For

• Demonstrated success as a Plant Manager, Operations Director, or equivalent leadership position in manufacturing
• Documented improvements in facility safety metrics, production efficiency, and financial performance
• Experience building and leading manufacturing teams in a unionized or high-accountability environment
• Knowledge of lean operations, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement frameworks
• Strong understanding of manufacturing compliance, safety standards, and quality systems
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities with proven decision-making judgment
• Ability to balance long-term strategy with immediate operational demands
