Physician Gastroenterology – Competitive Salary

RecruitWell is partnering on the launch of a brand-new gastroenterology practice in Nags Head, North Carolina, and we are searching for a Physician Gastroenterologist ready to help shape patient care from day one.

About the Role

This is a full-time, on-site Physician Gastroenterology opportunity in Nags Head, Dare County, supporting a newly established GI practice that spans both ambulatory and inpatient settings. As one of the founding clinicians, you will deliver comprehensive gastrointestinal care while helping to shape the growth and direction of a practice built from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, treat, and manage patients across the full spectrum of gastrointestinal conditions.
• Perform core GI procedures, including colonoscopies, EGDs, and related endoscopic work.
• Provide continuity of care across both ambulatory (outpatient) and inpatient environments.
• Collaborate with referring providers and clinical staff to support a successful new practice launch.

Qualifications

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Gastroenterology (required).
• Confidence and proficiency performing core gastroenterology procedures such as colonoscopies and EGDs.
• Ability to manage patients in both outpatient and inpatient care settings.
• An active or obtainable medical license to practice in North Carolina.
