Telehealth Physician / Nurse Practitioner (Weight Management & Metabolic Health)

LumiMeds is hiring a full-time, remote Telehealth Physician / Nurse Practitioner (Weight Management & Metabolic Health) to deliver provider-guided virtual care to patients across the United States. About the Role

As a Telehealth Physician or Nurse Practitioner with LumiMeds, you'll join our Professional Corporation (PC) group and provide direct patient care entirely through a modern virtual platform. You'll carry out remote evaluations, interpret patient health data, and decide on treatment plans using your own independent clinical judgment. Partnering with our care coordination and operations teams, you'll help ensure every patient receives safe, compliant, evidence-based care — with the flexibility, autonomy, and growth that come with an expanding telehealth organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead virtual patient consultations, both synchronous and asynchronous where applicable
• Evaluate intake forms, medical histories, and lab results to inform care decisions
• Establish medical necessity and prescribe treatment when clinically warranted, following all state and federal regulations
• Deliver continued clinical oversight, follow-up visits, and treatment adjustments as needed
• Record every encounter, decision, and prescription accurately within the EMR
• Work alongside care coordinators and internal teams to strengthen patient adherence and outcomes
• Uphold all telehealth, prescribing, and documentation standards
• Contribute as an active clinical member of the LumiMeds PC group

Qualifications

Physicians:

• MD or DO holding an active, unrestricted U.S. medical license
• Board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• Eligibility to practice telemedicine in your licensed states

Nurse Practitioners:

• Active, unrestricted NP license with prescriptive authority
• Board certification (FNP, AGNP, or equivalent)
• Compliance with state telehealth practice requirements

All candidates:

• Licensure across multiple U.S. states, with 30+ state coverage strongly preferred
• Previous telehealth experience preferred
• Solid grounding in evidence-based weight management and metabolic health
• Sharp clinical judgment, thorough documentation, and close attention to detail
• Confidence working within a collaborative, remote-first team
• Professional-level English communication and availability during U.S. business hours
