About the Role
As a Personnel Security Assistant, you will help administer security clearance processes that keep sensitive federal operations running smoothly. This is a 100% onsite position in Albany, NY, structured around a long-term engagement covering a base year followed by four option years. The standard schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Key Responsibilities
- Support personnel and facility security clearance activities for a federal client.
- Assist with processing, tracking, and maintaining clearance-related documentation and records.
- Coordinate clearance support services in line with federal security requirements and procedures.
- Maintain accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance throughout all security administration tasks.
Qualifications
- An active TS/SCI security clearance is required for consideration.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle sensitive information discreetly.
- Comfortable working fully onsite at the NY State Campus in Albany County during standard daytime hours.
- Reliable organizational and recordkeeping skills suited to a structured federal security setting.
Compensation
This full-time position offers an annual salary range of $47,000 to $66,500, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
