About the Role
This is an in-office, full-time position with a Workers' Compensation and Personal Injury law firm based in Garden City, Nassau County. As a Personal Injury Paralegal, you will work side by side with attorneys, concentrating solely on personal injury files while keeping case documentation accurate and daily case activity running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, assemble, and maintain legal documents tied to active personal injury cases.
- Organize and update case files so records stay complete and easy to retrieve.
- Support attorneys with the routine, day-to-day operations of each matter.
- Track case progress and help keep deadlines and follow-ups on schedule.
- Coordinate the flow of information across the personal injury caseload.
Qualifications
- Prior experience as a paralegal, ideally within personal injury or a related practice area.
- Strong organizational skills and close attention to detail when handling legal documentation.
- Ability to manage several active files and competing priorities at once.
- Comfortable working on-site full-time in the firm's Garden City office.
- A dependable, self-directed approach to supporting a busy legal team.
