Day-to-Day Responsibilities Greet arriving clients, identify their needs, and recommend appropriate deposit, credit, or cash-management solutions. Open new checking, savings, and certificate accounts while completing accurate documentation and identity verification. Process deposits, withdrawals, transfers, wire requests, and payment transactions with speed and precision. Explain fees, interest rates, and account features so clients make informed choices. Refer qualified individuals to specialists for home loans, investments, or business banking when appropriate. Maintain branch sales targets by proactively spotting opportunities during routine conversations. Balance cash, resolve vault discrepancies, and follow security procedures at close of business. Update client profiles in the core system and log service requests for timely follow-up. Requirements High-school diploma or equivalent; additional coursework in finance or business is helpful. Prior customer-service or cash-handling experience in retail, hospitality, or financial settings. Ability to learn product details quickly and communicate them in plain language. Comfort using personal computers, core banking software, and standard office tools. Strong numerical accuracy, attention to detail, and professional telephone manner. Availability for a full-time weekday schedule that supports branch hours across the 2 Locations. Willingness to complete required bank training and maintain confidentiality standards.
