About the Role
As a Personal Care Aide with A Plus Health Care, you will deliver meaningful, hands-on support that helps clients live safely and comfortably in their own homes throughout the Saint Ignatius and Lake County area. This on-site PCA position is ideal for kind, dependable individuals who find purpose in caring for others. New starting pay reaches up to $24.70 per hour, and we are interviewing now.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene
- Support mobility, transfers, and safe movement around the home
- Help with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and routine household tasks
- Offer companionship and attentive, respectful care that promotes independence and dignity
- Observe and report changes in each client's condition or needs to the care team
Qualifications
- A genuine desire to help others and improve the daily lives of those you serve
- Reliability, patience, and strong interpersonal communication
- Ability to perform physical caregiving tasks in a home setting in Saint Ignatius, Lake County
- Willingness to learn and follow individualized care plans
