Position Summary We are seeking a dedicated Patient Care Technician to join our team at Promedica's Toledo Hospital and Flower Hospital locations. As a Patient Care Technician, you will serve as a vital member of our patient care team, assisting patients with daily activities, monitoring their comfort, and supporting clinical staff to deliver quality healthcare services. Key Responsibilities Assist patients with personal hygiene, grooming, and activities of daily living Help patients with positioning, transfers, and mobility as directed by nursing staff Monitor and report patient vital signs and changes in patient condition Maintain patient rooms, ensure comfort and safety, and manage patient belongings Support nursing staff with patient care tasks and clinical procedures Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean, safe patient environment Document patient care activities and observations accurately What We're Looking For High school diploma or equivalent (GED) Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain Patient care experience or training in a healthcare setting Strong communication and interpersonal skills Physical ability to lift, transfer, and support patients safely Compassion for patients and commitment to excellent care Ability to work collaboratively with clinical and support teams Reliability and professional demeanor in a fast-paced hospital environment About Promedica Promedica is a leading healthcare organization committed to improving the health and well-being of the communities it serves.
