Golden Plains Community Hospital (GPCH) in Borger, Hutchinson County, is hiring a full-time Patient Account Representative (PAR) for our Admissions department. This is an essential role where you'll be the first point of contact for patients entering our healthcare system.

About the Role

As a Patient Account Representative in Admissions, you'll manage the critical first phase of patient interaction at GPCH. You'll register patients, collect and verify insurance information, explain financial responsibilities, and ensure all admissions paperwork is complete and accurate. Flexible scheduling accommodates varying hours and days to meet department needs. Starting rate is $13.49 per hour without prior experience.

What You'll Do

• Register new patients and collect complete demographic and insurance information
• Verify insurance coverage and explain patient financial obligations
• Process admissions paperwork with precision and accuracy
• Answer patient questions about billing, payments, and account procedures
• Maintain strict confidentiality of all patient health information
• Follow up on account inquiries and resolve issues professionally
• Support the admissions workflow with additional administrative tasks as needed
