About the Role
As a Part Time Personal Trainer at our Lakeland gym, you'll work directly with members to create and implement effective fitness programming. You'll combine technical expertise with interpersonal skills to deliver an exceptional training experience that keeps people motivated and on track.
What You'll Do
- Create individualized fitness plans based on member goals, fitness level, and health history
- Conduct one-on-one personal training sessions and group fitness classes
- Teach proper exercise form and movement technique to ensure safety and effectiveness
- Monitor member progress and adjust programs for continuous improvement
- Provide nutrition and lifestyle coaching to support overall health goals
- Welcome new members, perform fitness assessments, and recommend appropriate training packages
- Maintain a clean, safe training environment and equipment standards
What We're Looking For
- Current personal training certification from a recognized organization (NASM, ACE, ISSA, or equivalent)
- Hands-on experience training clients of various fitness levels and backgrounds
- In-depth knowledge of exercise science, kinesiology, and training methodology
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
- Dedication to client safety and injury prevention
- Flexible availability to work part-time hours
- Genuine enthusiasm for helping others achieve fitness results
